Return Policy
At Melancholic Dreamers, each piece is created with care and intention. To ensure fairness and clarity, please review our policy before completing your purchase.
General Policy
All sales are final.
We can only accept returns or exchanges if an item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, and the issue is reported before the item has been washed or worn.
Please make sure you select your sizes carefully - we can’t be responsible for sizing errors once an order is placed.
If you wish to modify or cancel your order, contact us within 12 hours of purchase at info@melancholicdreamers.com. Once processing begins, we’re unable to make changes.
Price Adjustments
We do not offer refunds or store credit for price changes or promotions that occur after your order has been placed.
Conditions for Return or Exchange
If your item qualifies for a return or exchange, it must:
1. Be in original, unused condition
2. Include all tags, packaging, and receipts
3. Be shipped back in the original packaging
Shipping Responsibility
Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
- Domestic customers cover the return shipment to Melancholic Dreamers.
- International customers cover both the return shipping and the cost of sending any replacement item.
International exchanges may require up to 1–3 months to process depending on customs and carrier delays.
Return-to-Sender & Failed Deliveries
If a package is returned to us due to incorrect address information, missed delivery, or failure to collect the parcel, a €15 Return-to-Sender fee will apply. This fee covers reshipment costs. Orders will not be resent until the address has been confirmed and the RTS fee has been paid via your original payment method.
Incorrect or Defective Orders
If you receive an incorrect or damaged item, please reach out to us. We’ll provide a prepaid return label so you can send the item back. Once we’ve received it, we’ll send out the correct product at no additional cost.
If the incorrect item isn’t returned, we won’t be able to issue a replacement or refund.
Forced Refunds & Restocking
Orders returned outside the terms of this policy or refused upon delivery may qualify for a forced refund. In such cases, the refund will include the order subtotal minus shipping fees and a restocking charge of €5–€10 per item.
